On October 14, the Computer Science department at the University of Memphis will be hosting a Data Analysis and Data Science in Python Workshop. From their announcement:
This 3-day hands-on workshop is designed for scientists and working professionals who would like to learn programming for basic and intermediate large-scale data analysis. Participants will learn how to program in Python and how to write short programs to analyze data.
This workshop promises to start with basical procedural programming in python, then build knowledge of object-oriented programming and data analysis using Pandas and Sckikit-learn.
Registration is now open and is $650 for professionals, $280 for students, and only $100 for current UofM students. Register here.
